Kawser Khan and the Beige Revolution

Building the World’s Most Seamless Photo & Video Experience—From College Hustle to Global Scale

A Vision Born in East Hollywood
Kawser Khan’s journey is the kind of story that defines modern entrepreneurship. Born in Bangladesh and raised in East Hollywood after moving to the U.S. at the age of four, Kawser grew up immersed in a vibrant and diverse community. His creative instincts and entrepreneurial drive emerged early—but it was a spontaneous music video in 2017 that would ignite a movement.

While still in college, Kawser set out to shoot a music video for his first song, The Prophecy. With no money and no production team, he rented a Lamborghini, gathered a few friends, and filmed the entire video himself. What began as a passion project unexpectedly opened the doors to something much bigger. “After that video,” he recalls, “friends started calling me: ‘Can you shoot my wedding?’ ‘Can you do my brand video?’ That’s when I realized—there’s a real gap in this space.”

The Birth of Beige: Solving a Creative Industry Pain Point
What started as a favor for friends soon became the foundation for Beige, a game-changing video and photo booking platform. Kawser saw beyond the one-off projects—he saw an opportunity to simplify creative production at scale. In a world where time is short and content is king, people needed a fast, reliable, and high-quality way to get their video and photography needs met.

Beige was designed to be just that—a seamless, accessible experience for everyone from brands to brides, artists to academics. Under Kawser’s leadership, Beige evolved into what many now call the “Uber for Videography,” matching clients with top-tier creatives for everything from weddings to commercial shoots.

A Trusted Brand for Global Icons
What makes Beige truly remarkable is the caliber of its clientele. In just a few years, it has grown into a trusted partner for some of the world’s most respected names—Amazon, Rolls-Royce, Harvard University, and even legends like Stevie Wonder. This kind of trust doesn’t come easily, but Beige earned it by focusing on what matters most: reliability, simplicity, and excellence.

Bootstrapped and Booming
In an age where startups often chase funding before building foundations, Kawser took a different path. Beige grew organically, relying on word-of-mouth, excellent service, and relentless innovation. By 2021, it hit its first million in revenue—without a dollar in outside funding.

Now, in 2025, Beige is preparing to launch its marketplace platform—a major leap toward Kawser’s long-term vision. With this new platform, the company plans to scale creative access to 100 million users by the end of the decade. The goal? To make top-tier video and photo production as easy to book as a ride.

Legacy in the Making
Kawser Khan represents a new kind of CEO—visionary, grounded, and deeply connected to his roots. From a scrappy college shoot to building one of the most seamless creative platforms in the world, his journey is a testament to what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

As Beige continues to redefine the industry, Kawser remains focused on the mission: democratizing creativity and empowering everyone—no matter their background—to bring their visions to life.
